Plane makes forced landing in Egg Harbor Township

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. - March 4, 2014

Officials say the single engine Piper P-A 28 hit a fence and overturned shortly after 5:00 p.m.

The FAA tells Action News that the aircraft then made a forced landing on a road in Egg Harbor Township.

The pilot was the only one on board and walked away uninjured.

Investigators are working to determine why the plane could not get off the ground.
