It happened at 8:10 a.m. on the ramp to the westbound Pennsylvania Turnpike from the Valley Forge interchange.
Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed the big rig lying on its side in the main travel lane of the ramp.
Traffic appeared to be flowing smoothly past on the right shoulder.
Medics were called to the scene to check on the driver.
No other injuries were reported.
