Man killed in multi-vehicle crash on northbound I-476

BROOMALL, Pa. - April 1, 2014

The accident happened before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday approaching Route 3 in Broomall.

Police say 34-year-old Brian L Bagley of Chester was traveling southbound on the highway when his Chevy Trailblazer struck the median guard rail head on and rolled over multiple times, coming to rest blocking both northbound lanes.

According to investigators, Bagley was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected while his vehicle rolled over. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Action News is told at least one other person was injured in the crash.

Both northbound lanes were blocked for a time while crews worked to clear the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
