Man shot in buttocks in West Mount Airy robbery

WEST MOUNT AIRY - April 15, 2014

Officers were called out to the 200 block of West Johnson just before 9:00 a.m. for a reported shooting.

Upon their arrival police found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. The victim told officers he was also robbed during the shooting.

The man was transported to Albert Einstein medical Center where he was admitted in critical condition.

Taken in the robbery was $800 cash, a gold Rolex watch and a Versace belt with a gold buckle.

Police are searching for two male suspects. The first was last seen wearing a black hoody and dark pants - the other was wearing a gray hoody and dark pants.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene in a silver or gray Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows.
