Firefighters were dispatched to the 4700 block of Tampa Street at 12:13 a.m.
Arriving crews reported heavy smoke and fire in a two row home.
The fire extended to adjoining homes on both sides.
Officials say all those inside were able to escape without harm.
The fire was placed under control at 12:58 a.m.
The Salvation Army responded to the scene.
It is not clear at this time how many people have been displaced due to the fire.
