The incident happened at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday at Victor's Tavern located on the 5500 block of Wayne Avenue.
According to police, the gunman followed the victim out of the bar and shot him three times at point blank range.
The 33-year-old man managed to run back inside the tavern for help.
He was rushed to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.
The suspect fled on foot.
Police say the shooting was captured by surveillance cameras.
A full investigation is underway.
