Family of woman killed in Ewing Township blast files lawsuit

EWING TWP., N.J. - April 25, 2014

62-year-old Linda Cerritelli was killed March 4th when utility workers struck a gas line outside her condo.

The family's attorney Tom Kline says PSE&G and contractor Henkels and McCoy Inc., made deadly mistakes that could have been prevented.

"A series of tragic, horrible, mistakes - the mismarking of lines, the use of equipment instead of hand digging, the failure to call 911, the failure to put into effect emergency services," said Kline.

Investigators say 55 homes were damaged or destroyed by the blast.
