It happened around 8:30 Sunday night on the 1600 block of Margaret Street.
Authorities say the victim walking with friends when she heard several gunshots. That's when the teen discovered she had suffered a graze wound to the thigh.
Police say the teen walked herself to Aria-Frankford Hospital. She is listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
Police continue to investigate.
