Armed bank robber sought in Philadelphia
MANAYUNK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police and the FBI are asking for the public's assistance in identifying an armed bank robber.
The incident occurred at the TD Bank located at 5501 Ridge Avenue around 10 a.m. Friday.
Authorities say the suspect entered the bank and approached a teller. He placed a small black revolver on the counter and made a verbal demand for money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the area on foot.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Police say the suspect was wearing a neon yellow safety vest that read "C-80" on the back.
The subject is considered armed and dangerous.
