PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for four suspects they say shot out the door of a laundromat in West Philadelphia before storming in and attempting to dismantle an ATM.

It happened around 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27 on the 5600 block of Vine Street.

Police said when the occupants of the business did not open the doors, multiple gunshots were fired into the glass door.

Surveillance video released by police on Thursday shows the suspect firing the shots.

Police said a man on the other side of the glass door was struck in the leg.

One of the suspects then entered the laundromat through the shattered door, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, and demanded to know where the money was, according to police.

Three more suspects then entered the business and attempted to gain access to the ATM inside.

The four suspects, two males and two females, then fled the location in an unknown direction.

Police ask anyone with information on the shooting and break-in to contact them.
