PEMBERTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say a Cherry Hill woman attempted to set fire to a home while her child, ex-boyfriend, and his mother were inside.
Pemberton Township police were called to Pointville Road around 7:15 a.m. Saturday for a report of a person attempting to light a residence on fire.
Upon arrival, the officers detected a strong odor of gasoline along with a visible wet fluid outside the home.
Police say the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Annie Ngo, had poured the fluid believed to be gasoline on the exterior of the home while her ex-boyfriend, her child, and her ex-boyfriend's mother were inside.
Police say her ex-boyfriend confronted her as she was pouring fluid on the house and told her he was calling the police; she then fled on foot.
A warrant was issued for Ngo's arrest.
She was arrested without incident in Cherry Hill at approximately 12:15 p.m. Saturday.
Ngo was charged with Attempted Murder, Attempted Aggravated Arson, Attempted Burglary, Endangering the Welfare of a child, Stalking, Terroristic Threats, Criminal Mischief and Contempt of a Restraining Order.
Her bail was set at $800,000 without a ten percent option.
