Man stabbed during Frankford attempted robbery

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was critically injured after being stabbed during an attempted robbery in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, police said.

It happened on the 1900 block of Fillmore Place just before 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said the 57-year-old victim was stabbed four times in the stomach.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
