Audi pulls ad comparing women to used cars amid backlash
Audi pulls ad comparing women to used cars amid backlash: Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 4:30 p.m. on July 19, 2017.

Luxury auto maker, Audi, is apologizing following the outrage over their latest ad which compares women to used cars.

In the ad, a mom is inspecting her son's bride to make sure she's up to par.

She gives the ok, but apparently still disapproves of one detail.

The voiceover goes on to say: "An important decision must be made carefully." while plugging second-hand Audis.

The German luxury car maker apologized, pulling the ad.

It says it "deeply regrets" the tone and is investigating the used car division of its joint venture in China, which created it.
