Take baby turtles off holiday gift list

If you're thinking of getting someone a baby turtle this holiday season, think again.

They may be cute, but officials say they carry salmonella bacteria.

Despite efforts to ban the sale of baby turtles, they're still turning up and making people sick.

Officials say many kids who got sick weren't even directly exposed to the turtle, but the bacteria was spread by washing the turtle's tank in the bathtub used by kids.
