Teen injured in fall on roof of elementary school in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A teenager was injured in a fall on the roof of an elementary school in Delaware.

It happened around 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School in the 500 block of Duncan Road.

Police say three teen boys had climbed onto the roof when a 15-year-old fell and got hurt.

The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The other two boys, also 15, were brought down safely from the roof by rescue personnel.

No one else was injured.

Police say charges will likely not be filed.
