The City of Camden is mourning the death of "Zero," a beloved police dog.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- The City of Camden is mourning the death of "Zero," a beloved police dog.

Officials said Zero died Monday night. The cause of death is not yet known.

The Action Cam was there as fellow officers consoled one another on Tuesday.

Zero is credited with having the most apprehensions by any canine officer in New Jersey's history.

But the dog also became widely known as an ambassador for the police department, and widely loved by kids for his various community programs.
