NJ Permanent cosmetics center offers free 3D tattoos for post-mastectomy patients

MT. LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A South Jersey permanent cosmetics institute is again offering women who've had breast reconstruction surgery a chance to get complimentary 3-dimensional areola and nipple tattooing.

The Beau Institute holds its annual Day of Hope in honor of breast cancer awareness on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

It's the 7th year for the institute's offer.

"I am deeply passionate about being part of the healing journey of breast cancer survivors," says institute founder Rose Marie Beauchemin.

"Our clients continue to tell us the 3-D areola tattoo procedure dramatically restored their confidence, familiarity and femininity. I love seeing their expressions with their first glances when looking into their mirror."
