Brewerytown double shooting leaves 2 hospitalized

BREWERYTOWN (WPVI) -- A 14-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were hospitalized following a shooting in Philadelphia's Brewerytown section.

It was just after 4:30 Thursday afternoon when police were called out to the report of a shooting at the intersection of 25th and Jefferson streets.

When they arrived they found the two victims.

The 14-year-old had been shot one time in the lower left leg. Police transported the teen to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is in stable condition.

The 19-year-old was shot four times - once in the left arm, one time in the left shoulder, and twice in the right thigh.

Paramedics transported him to Hahnemann as well where he is listed in critical condition.

Two weapons were recovered at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made.
