Bristol High School dismissed early after receiving threatening note

BRISTOL, Pa. (WPVI) -- A high school in Bucks County was dismissed early Friday as a precaution after a threatening note was received by the school.

At 9:30 a.m. students were dismissed from Bristol High School in Bristol as a precaution after the unnerving discovery.

Authorities say an anonymous note was received with the word bomb in its contents.

However, the note did not provide any specific information.

Authorities are investigating.
