Bullet fired into window at Strawberry Mansion High School

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Security will be on the top of mind for those heading to Strawberry Mansion High School on Thursday.

A bullet pierced a third floor window of the school located on the 3100 block of Ridge Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The school was placed on lockdown.

Fortunately, most of the students had already been dismissed and no one was hurt.

Police are searching for the gunman.
