Man shot during home invasion in Burholme

BURHOLME (WPVI) -- A man was shot during a home invasion in Philadelphia's Burholme section.

It happened shortly before 2 p.m. in the 900 block of Shelmire Avenue.

Police say a man kicked in the back door and shot the victim once in the upper rightleg.

Nothing was reported to be taken from the home.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he's in stable condition.

There have been no arrests.
