3 local JC Penney stores closing

Three local JC Penney stores are closing their doors Monday.

At the end of business tomorrow, the stores at the King of Prussia Mall, Willow Grove Mall and Philadelphia Mills will close forever.

The company announced in March the stores were on the chopping block.

Since then, JC Penney has been trying to liquidate the merchandise.

About 5,000 jobs are affected.
