Monday began with heavy winds and rains that not only created problems for commuters, but also left serious damage to some residents' homes and cars in the Delaware Valley.

Dorzaser Taylor's Tahoe was parked outside his West Philadelphia home on North 60th Street overnight.

Taylor said wind and rain toppled a rusty utility pole and wires right onto his vehicle.

He was waiting for a police report for his insurance company late Monday morning.

"Damage was from the door to the roof then it seems like it rolled over, came off, smashed the back of the window," Taylor said.

At Suburban Station Monday morning, the boards lit up with delays on Regional Rail lines.
