Camden officer shooting suspect appears in court

The man accused of shooting a Camden County police officer was in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday.

A judge ordered Delronn Mahan, 19, to be held without bail.

Mahan faces attempted murder charges.

Police said he shot Officer Patrick O'Hanlon after a short foot chase.

The 21-year-old officer attended the hearing for his accused attacker.

O'Hanlon said he plans to return to work as soon as he recovers.
