Woman struck by car in Olney, driver in custody

OLNEY (WPVI) -- A woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a vehicle in Philadelphia's Olney section.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 5th Street and West Duncannon Avenue.

The victim, a woman in her 50s was struck by a car.

She was taken to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.

The driver was taken into custody at the scene.

No word yet on any charges.
