Car bursts into flames in Delco

YEADON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a car that erupted into flames in Yeadon, Pennsylvania.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Wednesday on Chester and Duncan avenues.

Neighbors notified police after hearing a series of loud pops.

The pops turned out to be the sound of a car fully engulfed in flames.

Fire crews were called to the scene and placed the situation under control.

There were no injuries reported.

Investigators are working to determine what cause the car to burst into flames.
