Driver crashes Porsche into Hockessin dry cleaners

HOCKESSIN, Del. (WPVI) -- A man drove his Porsche into a dry cleaning business in Hockessin, Delaware.

It happened around 8:25 a.m. Tuesday at the Reynolds Cleaners on the 7400 block of Lancaster Pike.

Police say a 66-year-old man was pulling into a parking space in front of the cleaners when he hit the gas instead of the brake, and drove his Porsche into the front of the building.

The man will be charged with careless driving.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.

The building sustained heavy damage.
