Thousands show up for Showboat job fair

ATLANTIC CITY (WPVI) -- The line was wrapped around the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City.

It's been almost two years since it shut down, but it's reopening in July. On Tuesday, they were looking to fill hundreds of open jobs.

It will reopen with 852 rooms as just a hotel, not a casino.

Thousands turned out including former Showboat employees who have been looking for work since it closed in 2014

Positions in the hotel include front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.

The Showboat is expecting to hire 200 people.
