Carjacking suspect caught after chase in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A suspected carjacker led police on a chase through Northeast Philadelphia.

It all started on Roosevelt Boulevard near Adams Avenue just after 9 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators say a man carjacked a victim at gunpoint, then took off.

Officers caught up with the suspect on the 100 block of West Albanus Street in the city's Olney section.

There are no reports of injuries.
