Woman sought in Center City bank robbery

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The FBI and Philadelphia police are on the hunt for a woman who held up a Center City TD Bank branch on Saturday afternoon.

Investigators released these surveillance photos of the suspect inside the branch at 19th and Market Streets.

Police say she handed a demand note to the teller asking for cash before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a black female in her early to mid-20s, 5'5" tall with an average build. She wore a gray zip-front hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a gray stripe down the side of each leg, black gloves, brown Ugg-style boots and dark, gold-framed sunglasses.

Anyone with information about this robbery is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.

There may be a reward for information leading to this subject's capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
