Police: Man stabbed in Center City, suspect fled

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized after being stabbed in the chest in Center City.

It happened around 4:17 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 23rd and Chestnut streets.

The 21-year old victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital by medics.

There is no word on his condition.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in what is described as a green SUV.
