PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A would-be robber in North Philadelphia tried to take a worker hostage in order to get cash.
Cameras captured the suspect asking a few questions at Olney Check Cashing on North Front Street Friday morning.
He left, only to return a few minutes later with a 25-year-old employee at gunpoint.
The man then threatened to shoot the woman if another worker didn't let him behind the counter.
The store employee realized the gun wasn't real and refused.
The suspect fled without getting any cash.
