Child falls from window in Delaware County

A child is said to be conscious and alert after falling from a second story window in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

The incident happened around 7:35 a.m. on the 100 block of West Chester Pike.

The child was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

It's not clear on how the child fell.

Police are investigating.
