South Jersey teen donates to Children's Hospital for her sweet 16

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- A South Jersey girl paid it forward.

Natalie Doggett presented $800 to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

It was her birthday present to the facility.

Action News was there last month as Natalie celebrated her Sweet 16 at the Deptford Skating Center in Westville, Gloucester County.

She asked guests to donate to CHOP instead of buying her presents.

The gesture was her way of saying thanks for the life-saving heart surgery she received at CHOP when she was just 10 days old.
