5th graders got to see how first responders do their jobs.
The event wraps up weeks of DARE lessons where the students learned skills to avoid drugs, gangs, and violence.

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- There was a lot of police activity at an Egg harbor Township Elementary School.

Sirens were blaring as police chased a man in a truck into the parking lot.

It was all part of Dare Day for the 5th graders.

They got to witness a mock pursuit, and even see one of the k-9's tackle the suspect.

Afterwards they got to check out all the emergency vehicles, and even hop on a police motorcycle.
