"Cones with cops" at Rita's

MARSHALLTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Neighbors in Delaware were treated to some nice cold water ice on this hot day.

It was also a chance for them to meet New Castle County police officers.

The department hosted a "cones with cops" event at Rita's on Kirkwood Highway in Marshallton Thursday.

Officers dished up everyone's orders.

Customers also got to know K9 Nikko and horses from the mounted patrol.
