FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Thousands of Muslims gathered in Fairmount Park Tuesday.

They celebrated Eid al-fitr outside the Please Touch Museum.

The Islamic holiday marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

It's traditionally a time for family and festivities, bringing together Muslims from different communities.
