Lawncrest Pool opening kicks off summer swimming season

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- There's a brand new way to beat the heat in Philadelphia starting Tuesday.

The Lawncrest Pool on the 6000 block of Rising Sun Avenue kicks off the summer swimming season.

More than 70 indoor and outdoor public pools will be opening across the city in the next two weeks.
