PEMBERTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- There's a new ray of hope for addicts seeking help in South Jersey.

The "Straight to treatment" addiction program began Tuesday in Pemberton Township, Burlington County.

The drug treatment program allows people to walk off the street, and into a police station to find the help they need to fight their addiction to drugs.

It will be in operation every Tuesday from noon until 6 and works in conjunction with Solstice Counseling.
