Philly Holiday Festival returns to Center City this season
Mayor Jim Kenney announced details of the second annual Philly Holiday Festival at the One Liberty Observation Deck Monday morning.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the city of Philadelphia is starting to get into the holiday spirit.

Mayor Jim Kenney announced details of the second annual Philly Holiday Festival at the One Liberty Observation Deck Monday morning.

New this year is an animated light show on City Hall and the Christmas Village will move back to the newly renovated LOVE park.

6abc President and General Manager, Bernie Prazenica, explains why our station is a proud media partner.

"It's really about creating a cool environment for people to come into the city and celebrate in a bunch of ways," he said.

The Philly Holiday tree moves to the North side of City Hall this year and the Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park reopens Friday, November 10th for the winter season.
