Phoenixville Fire Department kicks off Fire Prevention Week

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Hundreds of people came out Friday night for a special "First Friday" event in Chester County.

The Phoenixville Fire Department was there to help kickoff Fire Prevention Week.

Firefighters were on hand to meet and greet residents.

They also gave some youngsters a chance to see the fire equipment up close.
