Some streets in Center City to be 'car free' Saturday. Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 6 a.m. on October 28, 2017.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Some streets in Center City will be car free on Saturday, which means you can run, walk, bike and play in the streets without worrying about traffic.

A seven mile stretch between 3rd and Chestnut Streets in Old City and 5th and Indiana in Fairhill will be shut down Saturday.

Cars parked in these "no stopping" zones along the route will be towed.

This is the second car free day since the event was inspired by the car restrictions during Pope Francis's visit to Philadelphia in 2015.
