Students walk for air conditioning

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- With near record cold temperatures in the forecast, it may be hard to remember the school year started with sweltering temperatures.

It was then that students at Decatur Elementary in Northeast Philadelphia hatched a plan to raise money to air condition the school.

Wednesday they held a walk-a-thon for the effort.

They've been collecting pledges to pay for the A.C. units and upgrades to the schools electrical system.
