Taking the oath to Serve and Protect
A dozen new police officers took the oath as reported during Action News at 4 on August 1, 2019.

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- In Cherry Hill, a dozen new police officers took the oath to serve their communities.

Nine of them are headed to the Gloucester County Police Academy.

The other three are already certified and will immediately start field officer training.

The newest hires range from age 21 to 28.

Four of them are bilingual and three of them are women.
