CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman is hospitalized after a crash that affected traffic on both I-495 and I-95 in Delaware.
It happened at 8:30 a.m. Sunday where I-495 North merges into rejoins I-95 North in Claymont.
State police tell Action News a 25-year-old female motorist lost control and struck a guard rail on I-495 North.
The car the overturned and rolled, coming to rest on I-95 North.
The woman was freed from the wreckage and taken to Christiana Hospital in stable condition to be treated for chest and back pain.
I-95 North was shut down, and one lane of I-495 North were blocked, as police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene.
There was no immediate word what caused the motorist to lose control prior to the crash.
