Police investigate crash, reported shooting in Parkside

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- A SWAT team responded to the Parkside section of Philadelphia after a report of gunfire and a car accident.

Police received a call about the incident shortly before 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of North Holly Street.

Images from Chopper 6 showed officers on the scene and at least one car, which had sustained damage.

Police found one vehicle crashed into a utility pole, and another with heavy front-end damage just down the road.

So far, no word on what led to the crash of if anyone had been hit by gunfire.
