NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A crash involving a tractor trailer left a huge oil spill on a Delaware highway Friday morning.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on the DuPont Highway at Mallard Road.

The big rig collided with another vehicle.

Traffic in the area was detoured around the scene while police investigated and hazmat crews cleaned up the spill.

There is no word yet on the cause of the collision.
