BUSTLETON (WPVI) -- An eight-inch water main break caused problems in the Bustleton section of Philadelphia for several hours.

Water Department officials say an eight-inch main broke early Saturday morning along the 1700 block of Bowler Street.

Philadelphia police say the 7th District, which is near the broken main, had about three to four inches of water in the basement.

Crews spent most of the day repairing the main.

The Water Department says the water was restored about 3:30 p.m.
