2 South Jersey colleges plan to merge

VINELAND, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two South Jersey colleges are moving forward with plans to merge.

Cumberland Count College and Rowan College at Gloucester County would be known as Rowan College of South Jersey.

Leaders from both schools announced the details Wednesday afternoon, in Vineland.

They say the merger would help classes stay affordable and create a better experience for students.

Both colleges' board of trustees will discuss the move.
