Day care owner charged with abuse in Middletown, Delaware

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (WPVI) -- Police say video from a day care center in Middletown, Delaware tells a disturbing tale.

They say it shows the owner physically abusing the children in her care.

Detectives showed up Monday at the Primary Colors Family Daycare in the unit block of Margaretta Drive after police received a complaint.

They demanded to see the center's surveillance video, and then took the owner into custody.

Angela Flewelling is charged with abuse for allegedly dragging and kicking children.

Parents who send their children to the center have been notified of the arrest.
